We are seeking a passionate IT Prep Technician to join our 4Wall team.  Based at our headquarters in Harlow, Essex you will play a crucial role within our warehouse team in maintaining the highest standard of our IT rental equipment. From managing our full inventory of IT equipment, including laptops, iPads, desktops, touchscreens and more, to staying on top of the latest software developments and updates.   

 

The ideal candidate will have both technical and professional knowledge and be able to work well as part of a team. Attention to detail, a passion for all things IT and the ability to use your initiative are also key, as this role will involve helping to grow the IT team and working to meet project deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for preparing a range of IT equipment, ensuring that it is tested and prepped to the highest standard
  • Responsible for the on-going maintenance of IT equipment, ensuring all software licenses are up to date
  • Using our internal system to carry out weekly stock checks of all equipment.
  • Adhering to standard operating procedures and health and safety standards

  • Clear and concise communication
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Can work well under pressure and use own initiative to set own targets and problem solve
  • Able to be flexible where necessary to meet the needs of the business

 

Working hours:

Full time, 40 hours per week.  Based on a rotating shift system, 7.00am-4.00pm and 10.00am-7.00pm Monday to Friday.  The ability to facilitate overtime as required, including weekend working is essential.
