Inside Sales - Inside Sales Representative
General Scope of Responsibilities:
This position provides administrative and customer support by assisting the Business Support Specialist and other department personnel by performing a variety of duties in support of location/ department functions, such as order intake and processing, AP/AR, and data entry.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Drive a safety culture based on accountability, trust, and care for your teammates.
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism, positive attitude, and cooperation with fellow associates.
- Provide superior customer support.
- Enter customer orders into the ERP system and communicate status of orders with customers.
- Coordinate completion dates for customer orders with production.
- Ability to answer multi-line phone system.
- Serve as administrative liaison with others within the organization.
- Generate work orders and close them as applicable.
- Make fiber inventory adjustments to active work orders.
- Manage the invoicing of customers and provide customer copies of invoices and bills of lading.
- Arrange shipping of materials
- Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable
Preferable Position Requirements:
- Must be a self-starter.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task and prioritize the workload.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Positive attitude, excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Prior experience a plus.
- Must have intermediate MS Office skills, preferably proficient with MS Excel.
Education/ Experience:
- HS Diploma or better

Coordination: Business Support Specialist, Corporate HR, St. Louis, and Hampton sites

Supervision Received:
Work is assigned in terms of broad objectives and priorities and is reviewed for policy, soundness of approach and general effectiveness. The performance of the department is reviewed against established objectives and budgets.

- Good communication skills - oral and written -Spanish is an asset.

Effort & Working Conditions:
Normal work environment allows the associate to sit comfortably and move about freely, not confined to a workstation. There may be some need to lift moderately heavy articles. The physical environment is clean and climate-controlled within a partitioned workstation. There is frequent involvement in the manufacturing environment. Sensory attention is required to read reports, do keyboarding. The associate has frequent customer contact and normal business travel including the supervision of equipment installation.
