Account Representative – E-Commerce Sales

Position Summary

The role of the Account Representative on the E-Commerce sales team is to maintain and focus on developing and growing defined Key E-Commerce Accounts.  Representative will manage all day-to-day customer activities to grow Cosco business on e-commerce platforms (1P & 3P) per account. This is a dynamic and engaging position that offers the full scope of manufacturer sales focused on the opportunity to gain experience in the ever changing and growing digital sales and marketing industry. Responsibilities will include building relationships with account and/or sales rep group to meet account financial targets as well as serving as the Cosco Expert in all aspects for the “account”.   Expanding account SKU assortment online and reviewing product listings & optimization, product launches, keyword research (SEO) as well as account management and development. The ideal candidate for this role is digitally curious, problem solver, continuous learner, and data oriented. They enjoy being a part of a team that gets things done, supports each other, and likes to have fun while doing it.

 

Essential Job Functions

·         Manage customers data administration, including catalog and content updates, merchandising, data accuracy, and submissions

·      Digital shelf audits: review all retailer websites for Cosco search functionality, product assortments and enhanced content optimization

·         Analyze customer sales reporting to monitor trends, gaps, and opportunities for growth

·         Monitor online ad performance and make optimizations as needed

·         Work with assigned accounts to plan out product promotions

·         Work with assigned accounts on new product onboarding and launches

·         Manage the new item launch process with internal teams and external rep groups

·         Support supply & demand forecasting for assigned accounts

·         Support management of customer sales goals and project timelines to ensure sales targets are delivered on-time/on budget

·         Developing and tracking Promotional Activity,

·         Develop Marketing plans (AMS/WPA/Wayfair Pay Per Click)

·         Providing direction and support to Account DER/Reps

·         Providing clear executional direction on New Product Launches

·         Identifying slow sellers and creating an action plan

·         Execution of pricing strategies and changes

·         Cross Functional collaboration with Merchandising Department for content and imagery

·         Cross Functional Collaboration with PD team for New Product Initiatives

·         Using BI Tools to develop new opportunities and to present to Rep Groups

·         Participate in forecasting calls

·         Participate in all account calls

·         “Fight The Fires”

·         Provide feedback on Monthly goals and targets

Qualifications

·         Education Requirements

o  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred

·         Prior Experience

o  2+ years of experience in E-Commerce or Omni-channel management (Amazon, Wal-mart.com, Target.com, Wayfair.com or other online retailers including platforms such as Shopify)
Or….
o  Passion for E-Commerce and retailer/brick and mortar experience with 1 year in sales analysis

·         Hard Skills

o  Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
o  Knowledge of Skype/Zoom
o  Knowledge of retailer-specific ad systems  (Amazon Marketing – AMS, Wayfair Ads, Criteo) o  Able to analyze large sets of data, provide insights from data analysis
o  Knowledge of eCommerce sales processes
