Sales Analyst
Position Summary
Our Sales Team is looking to add a Sales Analyst help provide best in class support for Walmart’s omni-channel operations, Dorel Home operates a full-service office in Bentonville, AR dedicated to all primary business functions including product development, supply chain, replenishment, and sales specifically for Walmart. As a Sales Analyst, you’ll become the expert in your category providing support across numerous business functions to ensure success. You will interact with several key stakeholders across multiple business units including Walmart, our individual manufacturers (COSCO, DHP and Ameriwood), as well as your immediate team in Bentonville.
Essential Job Functions
- Analyzing large data sets to gauge performance, identify opportunities, understand trends, and ultimately deduct actionable insight.
- Working with a team in various capacities to achieve common goals
- Building & managing relationships with Walmart, manufacturers, and immediate team members
- Tackling challenges, overcoming objections, and proactive problem-solving
- Publish monthly demand forecasts to the purchasing and planning teams
- Compare weekly Point-of-Sale (POS) reports versus prior forecasts to determine variances that require adjustments to future forecasts and to the production schedules
- Participate in discussions that guide financial decisions
- Prepare and publish mid-month variance reporting to communicate significant variance to plan
- Assist product development teams with anticipated volumes on future product launches
- Assist Sales and Finance on annual budgeting process.

Qualifications
- Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or similar is preferred
- Prior Experience
- Experience working with major omni-channel retailers like Walmart, Sams Club, Amazon, Target
- 2 – 3 years experience analyzing sales performance, marketing promotions and growth KPIs
- 2 – 3 years experience analyzing data for purpose of forecasting/planning
- Hard Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- 2 – 3 years experience with data visualization platforms (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, etc.) is preferred but not required
- Understanding of Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides
- Soft Skills
