Project Manager

Position Summary

As a Project Manager at Dorel, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring that they are completed on time and within scope. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success. Essential Job Functions

  • Define and execute project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Monitor and track project progress and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to management.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete and up to date.
  • Lead post-project evaluation and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external teams.

Qualifications

  • Education Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Prior Experience
    • 3 years of experience in related field
  • Hard Skills
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Knowledge of Skype/Zoom
  • Soft Skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation of project scope and deliverables.
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work with a wide range of coworkers to understand scope requirements and proposed solutions.
    • Collaborative nature and strong team building skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Physical Requirements
    • Those typical of standard office conditions.
    • Position requires frequent use of vision, hearing, and speaking abilities.
    • Light lifting may occasionally be required.
