The Corporate Communications Manager has a unique opportunity to drive ECI’s internal and external communications strategy on a global level. Through your leadership, experience, and insight, you will help bring ECI’s personality to the forefront of our communication initiatives to effectively promote and represent the organization. In this position, you will lead our content writing team, collaborate closely with ECI’s global Marketing and Human Resources teams, and work with our senior leadership team to craft and ensure all communication is effective and aligns with our corporate initiatives. This position will be based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Westlake, TX (1500 Solana Blvd, Suite 6500, Westlake, TX, 76262).
Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and implement internal and external communication strategies to build brand awareness and increase visibility.
- Oversee the workflow and work assignments of the content writing team to ensure effective consistent, quality work.
- Identify and help create opportunities to share internal news and strategies from our senior leaders with the global team.
- Help manage the company’s social media strategy and social media employee amplification initiatives.
- Craft CEO/executive messages (written and video) for internal (employees) and external (customers and partners) stakeholders.
- Ensure external content is optimized for SEO and readability.
- Assist in corporate programs like ECI’s Everyday Hero and Customer Excellence awards.
- Collaborate effectively with content, creative, and product marketing teams to assess project needs and opportunities that drive content creation.
- Manage multiple assignments within deadlines while maintaining consistent quality.
- Proofread and edit content written by yourself and other team members.
- Be an active member of ECI’s agile marketing scrum team that collaborates, supports, and manages the content development process.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional Corporate Communications and/or PR experience with a portfolio of published work.
- Experience leading a team of 3+ people.
- Must be based in the Fort Worth, TX area.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or related major.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar.
- Motivated, self-starter, eager to learn.
- Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.
