Kruger Family Industries is looking for a new Business Development Manager to build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships for TriEnda Material Handling's new sector: pharmaceutical packaging.

Position Overview

- Working directly with new prospects to showcase our capabilities, our products, and offer new solutions in the reusable packaging sector

- Establishes a strategy to identify and develop profitable new market opportunities

- Give presentations to new prospects

- Service assigned customers while identifying future needs that generate RFQs

- Travels to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders

- Works closely with Design Engineering and Operations to ensure customer requirements are met or exceeded

- Publishes business cases to ensure all groups have relevant information on projects

- Documents all sales activities in our CRM and maintains all account, contact & deal information while providing regular updates of customer contacts

- Attend conferences, trade shows and industry events to present our products and generate opportunities and leads. Be a leader in the industry

- Follows our formal quoting process to ensure that all RFQs are followed up with accurate and timely pricing proposals

- Work with inside sales & customer service department to resolve any issues or concerns identified

- Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts

 

Education and/or Experience

- Requires a bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university in a related field, or a two-year degree with 5-7 years’ related experience

- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with other departments and lead in a team environment

- Proven ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects

- Possesses 5+ years of existing sales selling returnable packaging to the pharmaceutical industry.

 

Technical Skills

- Preferred candidates will possess a knowledge of basic plastic thermoforming principles.

- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Work, Excel & PowerPoint).

- Ability to read, interpret, and utilize engineering reference materials.

- Ability to perform conceptual drawing tasks.

 

Travel

This position may require travel approximately 50-75% of the time.
