POSITION SUMMARY
The Electronics Technician 3 performs all maintenance on equipment, learns paperwork and computer processes and also mentors provides guidance and supervision to lower level electronic technicians. Skills are typically acquired by completion of the competency requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Perform and complete all essential functions required of Level 3 Electronics Technicians
- Coach/Mentor entry and lower electronics technicians
- Knowledge of All Related Tools and Software
- Able to use Engine/Transmission Diagnostic Software
- Able to troubleshoot complex hydraulic and pneumatic problems
- Able to troubleshoot complex control systems
- Able to troubleshoot complex engine/transmission electronics
- Able to tune and edit control software settings
- Performs Installations and upgrades
- Knowledge of SAP ,create and update work orders
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to read, write and speak English to the extent that they are able to understand verbal and written instructions as well as give verbal and written instructions in English
- Ability to use simple mathematical calculations
- Skills required for this position are typically acquired through completion of on the job training as an entry level Electronics Technician
- Must possess a vast knowledge of sensors used in oilfield electronics
- Must complete FOCUS training upon hire
- Must meet Competency Task List requirements for job role and complete Equipment Maintenance Task List
- Performs work on his/her own as well as provides assistance to other employees as directed
- Requires maintained eligibility to drive company vehicles
- Must participate in all company provided training
- Perform all duties in compliance with Customer and Company policies and procedures and applicable regulations
Minimum Required Education
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. - Required
- Associate's Degree or Applicable Experience - Preferred
Minimum Required Work Experience
- 4-7 years - Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Valid Driver's License - Required
- Commercial Driver's License - Preferred
