Full-Time Dishwasher - Maderas Golf Club

Job Summary:

The Dishwasher cleans and sanitizes all dishes, silverware, and kitchen equipment. The Dishwasher prepares food for the restaurant and banquet department. 

Responsibilities: 

- Prepare dish room/area. 

- Clear, wash and sanitize dishes and utensils. 

- Return dishes and utensils to appropriate storage areas. 

- Break down kitchen for cleanup. 

- Perform sanitation cleanup of dish room, kitchen, sinks, and drains. Empties trash. 

- Complete general cleanup of kitchen 

- Cooperate to get work done. 

- Flexible with daily schedule. 

- Requisitions inventory and receive supplies as necessary for daily production. 

- Ensures proper storage of food items. 

- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. 

- Regular and reliable attendance. 

- Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- High School diploma or equivalent

 Required Skills/Abilities:

- Ability to understand and follow directions.

- Ability to understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence.

- Ability to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced.

- Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff.

- Detail-oriented and thorough.

Education and Experience:

- Restaurant experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

- Prolonged periods walking or standing.

- Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 60 pounds at a time.

- Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.

- Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.

- Must frequently immerse hands in water.

• Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment.
