Parts Warehouse Coordinator - Kearny Mesa Ford Kia
Job Summary:
Kearny Mesa Ford Kia is looking to hire an organized and efficient person to fill an entry-level position in the parts warehouse. A Parts Warehouse Coordinator organizes, distributes, and controls the flow of parts to the various areas of the department. The candidate must be professional with the ability to ensure that parts distributed are timely and correct. The Parts Warehouse Coordinator will also ensure that overall operations within the warehouse are kept efficient and uniform.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pulls parts as needed by customer invoice (pick ticket), put parts in correct delivery location and print invoice if needed.
- Helps organize all parts orders and pulled orders for delivery drivers.
- Assist other dealer drivers by verifying parts and invoices for dealer will call.
- Assist with putting stock away, both from stock orders and customer returns.
- Alerts management of areas of concern such as damaged parts, incorrectly located parts.
- Communication with salesmen, teamwork with other warehouse employees and delivery drivers is a must.
- Keeps warehouse clean and organized.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous automotive or parts experience is preferred

Physical Demands:
- Regularly stands, walks, sits; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks and hears. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls; lifts up to 15 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
- Noise level is moderate.
Required Skills/ Abilities:
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
