Production Operative

The purpose of the role

Our Production Operatives maintain the efficient and safe running of assigned production lines. They ensure that set up and running procedures are adhered to at all times whilst maintaining our excellent product quality, and working together to meet operational KPI's (Key Performance Indicators)

What are the hours?

Working 39 hours per week we operate on a weekly alternating shift pattern (candidates must be able to commit to the shift pattern, they cannot choose between 1 and 2):

Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 6am - 2pm, Friday 6am - 1pm

Week 2 - Monday to Thursday 2pm - 10pm, Friday 1pm - 8pm

There is often the opportunity for additional paid overtime during busy periods.

What will I be doing?

It’s a varied role, and you’ll be doing a number of different tasks such as weighing, mixing, packing ingredients and finished products, and operating key machinery. There is a full development plan on offer which will give you the opportunity of progression as you learn more skills with us.

Due to the nature of the role it can be physically demanding. It calls for frequent manual handling of products so it helps if you are reasonably fit.
