Senior Operations Specialist- Automotive/Collision- Remote within the US

Job Summary/Objective

Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all Collision Repair Network (CRN) programs. Conducts team audits and inspection reviews to uphold performance quality, as well as occasional support in coordinating field visits for optimal staff and contractor utilization. Contributes to refining field data and facilitating new hire onboarding and education across CRN platforms and processes. Aids in optimizing OEM survey questions and flows and acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the OEC CRN and APN platforms across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities & Duties (essential to the job)

  1. Provides support as necessary, to adjust a large services organization with the right skills and capacity for the needs of the Certified Repair Network business.
  2. Assists with the development of training and educational programs in support of both OE Certification Programs as well as standalone company revenue generating programs.
  1. Creates learning strategies and provide resources to the field and operations teams that support personal development and program execution.
  2. Assists with creation, scheduling and presentation of learning content created for customers, operations and field services staff when needed.
  1. Evaluates processes, procedures, and systems continuously, and recommends and leads the implementation of quality improvements.
  2. Provides support, direction and status related to the rollout and execution of field-based Certification programs.
  3. Assumes responsibility for SOP creation and maintenance for all CRN programs.
  4. Conducts team audit and inspection reviews to ensure quality of performance.
  5. Provides support to the scheduling team with planning of field visits to ensure efficient processes and high overall utilization of staff and contractors.
  6. Assists in developing and refining field data to aid in team's ability to easily access important data and analytics to optimize field production.
  7. Assists with new hire on-boarding and education across CRN platforms and processes.
  8. Collaborates with various team members in OEM survey question and flow optimization; updates and maintains those surveys within OEC CRN platform.
  9. Works cross functionally with the Product Team, and acts as the OEC CRN platform SME across the business to aid in team education and product support when needed.

 

Education

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.  In the absence of a degree, directly related job experience with similar field support services responsibility where several years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement.

 

 Experience, Skills and Key Competencies

At least 5 years of experience leading and improving operational functions with a service and/or collision business environment, plus a proven ability to optimize a services business and create efficiencies to improve the overall bottom line.

 

Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:

 

  • Experience using a CRM and a document creation software or design software such as Adobe Illustrator
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to help create an engaging and positive culture that empowers others to do great work and resolve complex client issues.
  • Able to quickly learn and maintain thorough knowledge of company business systems, departmental guidelines, policies, and programs; and able to improve/update and implement all, as necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a demonstrated propensity to act and think strategically based on consideration of facts, priorities, and resources.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships across a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Can effectively organize and manage day-to-day work and priorities, and use time, energy and resources to meet goals, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Adaptable approach to work, and can easily adjust to shifts in priorities as the needs of the business change.
  • Able to effectively work and thrive in a remote work environment with limited in-person interaction opportunities.

 

Special Position Requirements

  • Moderate travel is required for this position, up to 25%.
